Rineen, Near Union Hall, Skibbereen

Rineen is a tidal inlet which reaches down towards castletownsend and a well signposted drive off the road between Union hall and the Castletownsend Road leads up to a carpark from where you can walk. The walk runs through beautiful woodland on the side of a hill which follows the tide for a few miles. Warning though - the walk is not for the feint hearted as there are steep tracks and slippery slopes! Worth it though.
